NYE Playboy Party 2012

This year I had the opportunity to shoot the NYE Playboy Party at the Hilton in Chicago.  It was a grand time and oh my goodness, I couldn’t believe this but.. I got to be on stage with the bunnies, dj, and performers!  Photographing the crowd when the clock hit midnight in front of 4,000+ people was an exhilarating experience to say the least.  I will never forget New Year’s Eve 2012!  You can view the rest of the album here.  Enjoy!

Where’s Waldo?

So my googlemaps application finally went through a week or so ago and I decided to check and see how it looked just now.  Searching for “Wedding Photographer” or the other usual search terms didn’t bring up my location so I took the direct approach and did a search for “Anthony Yoon Photography.”

Well apparently, googlemaps thinks my studio is located on a farm in the middle of an open field right outside Dwight, IL.  Dwight.  It’s a town.  I think I’ll make a field trip out to Dwight and see how my studio looks.  In the meantime, please do not attempt to drop by my “studio” any time soon.

Progress

Well my site is almost complete.  I feel like there should be some sort of definitive moment when I can say, “Aha!  It is finished.”  But alas, no such declaration seems appropriate since I’ll be continually updating the content.

It has been a while since I’ve written anything substantial that someone other than me would read.  Blogging has been a challenge for me lately because articulating my thoughts into words in a meaningful way is a habit I haven’t kept up with.  So as I painfully try to reclaim the art of writing and though I imagine the reading experience will be equally as excruciating, I ask for patience from my subscribers
